BARTOW- Ms. Barbara “Jean” Collins, 84, passed from this life on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in Bartow. Jean was born and raised in Fort Meade and later moved to Ocala. She returned to the area and settled in Bartow, ten years ago. Jean was of the Christian Faith, and attended The Church of Christ in Bartow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie S. Coleman and Doris Simmons; and brother, Willie Randel Polston.
Survivors include; sons, Glenn Polston, Kenny D. Polston; siblings, Sue, Roy, Lamar, Rita, Anita, Barbara; and step-mother, Mary Coleman.
A graveside committal service will be held at a later date, updates to follow on our website.
Arrangements entrusted to Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade.
