Mr. Bob Green

FORT MEADE - Mr. Robert Lee "Bob" Green, 62, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, FL. Bob was born October 14, 1955 in Hialeah, FL, and his first sentence to his parents was "Boat dock, Dada, Bye-Bye," and from that moment his parents knew he was born with water in his blood! Bob loved being on the water any time he could get a chance away from his business, B&E Automotive in Fort Meade, where he was a very accomplished auto mechanic. He loved to get away from business and relax in the outdoors fishing for hours. Loving nature and the outdoors, Bob waited for the fish to bite, and spent many times talking with God during this quiet time, as Bob was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman L. and Mildred Jones Green.

Bob is survived by his two brothers, Jim Green and wife Susan, Tallahassee, FL, and Ron Green and wife Shawna, Bartow, FL; two sisters, Sandra Brink and Husband Ed, and Sue Parrish and husband Ernie, all of Fort Meade, FL.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade with Rev. Joe Parrish and Rev. Chuck Pemberton officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bob's memory to: Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
