Bryant J. Skinner, Sr.

FORT MEADE - Mr. Bryant J. Skinner, Sr., 60, passed away at his home Sun., May 16, 2010 of heart failure. Mr. Skinner was born June 11, 1949 in Hahira, Georgia and was the son of the late Payton and Mary Hancock Skinner. Mr. Skinner was a Chemical Engineer Superintendent for St. John's Chemical Co. He moved to Fort Meade from Lake City, FL in 1986 and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Skinner was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Kay Williams, brothers, Benny Skinner, J.P. Skinner and sister, Dorothy Webb. He is survived by his son, Bryant J. (Buddy) Skinner, Jr. and wife Crystal, Fort Meade; daughter, Tracy Renee Cooley, Fort Meade; brother, Luciouse Skinner and wife Linda, Ruskin, FL; brother-in-law, Murrey Webb, Georgia; sisters, Maxine Wilson and husband Danny, Homeland, FL and Francis Miley and husband James, Fort Meade; sisters-in-law, Janice Skinner and Mildred Skinner, both of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Thomas Williams, Nicholas Sellers, Waylon Skinner, Bryant Skinner, III, Luke Skinner, Cassie Cooley.
