Charles E. "Buck" Greer

FORT MEADE - Mr. Charles Elwin "Buck" Greer, 76, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 in Bartow of heart failure. Mr. Greer was born in Colquit County, GA and moved to Fort Meade from Plant City 25 years ago. He was a recovery plant operator at Agrico for 37 years, an Air Force Veteran and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Greer is survived by his wife, Ann Greer, Fort Meade, FL; sons, Bill Greer and wife Melissa, Lake City, FL, Scott Greer, Plant City, FL, Jeff Greer and wife Dianna, Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Lori Teasley, Kings Mountain, NC; brother, Bob Greer, Loudon, TN; sisters, Mary Lou Peacock and Doris Williams, both of Plant City, FL and Grace Dougherty, Moultrie, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Teasley, Chris Greer, Brandy Davis, Stephanie Sun, Brenden Greer, Domonic Greer, Katelyn Greer; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
