Mr. Charles Scott Greer

FORT MEADE - Mr. Charles Scott Greer, 59, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Fort Meade, FL. Scott was born November 3, 1962 in Plant City, FL and has been a resident of Fort Meade for several years. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany, as a tach fire operation specialist. Scott was a former employee of Walmart in Bartow, a 1980 graduate of Plant City High School, and loved to watch and critique movies.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Charles Elwyn Greer, and brother, Billy Greer.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Greer, Plant City, FL; mother, Phyllis Ann Greer, Fort Meade, FL; brother, Jeff Greer and wife Diana, Great Falls, Montana; sister, Lauri Teasley and husband Danny, Kings Mountain, NC.

Vistation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the First Assembly of God, 211 NE 8th St., Fort Meade, FL, with funeral services following in the church sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Chuck Pemberton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
