Mrs. Christine Sellers Roberts went home to be with her Lord on August 29, 2011 after having heart failure. Born November 27, 1921, in Knoxville, TN, she was a resident of Fort Meade, FL. since 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sellers and Betty Summey Sellers Long, her beloved husband of 56 years, Raymond Elzie (Buddy) Roberts, her brothers Clyde Sellers and Joseph Sellers and her sister, Marianne Grove. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Marlatt (husband Rolla), son Jim Roberts, grandsons, Ryan Marlatt and Andrew Marlatt (wife Donna) and great-grandsons, Trenton Marlatt and Tyler Marlatt, four sisters-in-law, Bea Sellers, Gladys Patterson, Wilma Hendrick and Betty Carter (husband Ledger). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to her family as a full-time wife and mother. One of the greatest joys in her life was being a Sunday School teacher to 3rd-6th grade girls for many years. Her testimony of God’s love impacted many other lives throughout her lifetime. Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, Sat., Sept. 3, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am with the Rev. Kenny Slay and Rev.
