Clyde "Bud" Wyser, Jr.

FORT MEADE - Mr. Clyde "Bud" Gillie Wyser, Jr., 72, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of heart failure. Mr. Wyser was born June 13, 1939 in Bowling Green, FL and was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade. He retired after 47 years working as a mechanic for Swift & Co., Estech, Agrico and IMC Phosphate Mines. Mr. Wyser attended the Cornerstone Church of God, Fort Meade, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a graduate of Fort Meade High School class of 1958. He was known to his family as being a loving husband and father and a wonderful provider. Mr. Wyser was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde G. Wyser, Sr. and Rebecca Jordan Wyser and a brother, Willie M. Wyser. He is survived by his wife, Frances Vicki Wyser, Fort Meade, FL; son, Robert (Steve) Wyser, Fort Meade, FL; daughter, Deborah Wyser Romans, Beech Island, SC; brother, Joe Wyser and wife Sherry, Fort Meade, FL; sisters, Elizabeth White and husband Blaine, Bobbie June Townley and husband Denny, all of Bartow, FL; grandchildren, Shana Wyser Reed, Steven (Hank) Williams, Victoria Wyser, Makayla Romans; five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 1:00pm-3:00pm, Thurs., Dec. 1, 2011 at Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Bill Whitener officiating.
