BELLEVILLE, MI – Mr. David Leon Swinehart, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Lakeland, FL. Mr. Swinehart was born February 17, 1944 in McComb, OH and has been spending his winters in Sebring, FL since 2001. He was a commercial truck driver, a member of the Florida Flywheeler’s and many other organizations associated with engine shows.
Mr. Swinehart was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Angus Swinehart and Mary Benard Swinehart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Mary Ann Waldman Swinehart, Belleville, MI; son, David Brian Swinehart, Belleville, MI; daughter, Debbra Merritt and husband John, Van Wert, OH; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Florida Flywheeler Chapel, Fort Meade, FL.
