De'Laney "Tink" Ensslin

FORT MEADE - Miss De'Laney Chellav (Tink) Ensslin, 8, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 with her mother, Dawn Jerkins Ensslin, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Tink was born January 23, 2004 in Bartow, FL and was a life long resident of Fort Meade. She was a third grade student at Lewis Ann Woodbury Elementary in Fort Meade. Tink was a member of First Baptist Church, Fort Meade where she accepted Christ as her Saviour on April 22, 2012 and was baptized April 29, 2012. She had an infectious smile that everyone loved. Tink was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Mitchell Hicks and Maxine Watson, Alto Lee and Chellav Jerkins, Sr., Carl and Viola Ensslin. She is survived by her father, Brian Ensslin, Lakeland, FL; maternal grandparents, Bill and June Jerkins, Fort Meade, FL, paternal grandparents, Larry and Jean Ensslin, Lakeland, FL; great-grandmothers, Thelma Sliger and Evelyn Myers, both of Lakeland, FL; sister, Destiny Ensslin, Lakeland, FL, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, 307 East Broadway, Fort Meade with Rev. Kenny Slay and John Wheeler officiating.
