Derrick Keith Reeves

FORT MEADE - Mr. Derrick Keith Reeves, 33, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 in Fort Meade. Derrick was born October 2, 1981 in Bartow, FL and was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade. He was a truck driver, graduate of Fort Meade High School class of 2000, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Meade. Derrick was a very loving man, and devoted to every member of his family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Wallace Combs and Charlie Spencer, and paternal grandfather, Red Reeves.
Derrick is survived by his wife, Jessica Dawn Reeves, Fort Meade, FL; sons, Braden Cole Reeves and Skylar Gage Reeves, both of Fort Meade, FL; parents, Keith Ronald Reeves and Annette Denise Reeves, Fort Meade, FL; maternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Spencer and paternal grandmother, Kitty Reeves, both of Fort Meade, FL; brother, Aaron Wesley Reeves and wife Kristin, Fort Meade, FL; sisters, Crystal Dawn Reeves and fiance Rodney Wimberly, both of Bartow, FL, Brittany Celeste Gielow and husband Justin, Homeland, FL, Eva Hope Thompson and husband Nick, Fort Meade, FL; aunts and uncles, Richard and Anita Reeves, Linda Kersey, Vince and Dessie Combs, all of Fort Meade, FL; several great-aunts and great-uncles; nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Autum, Bryce, Brayden, Maddison, and Brody.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church, 135 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Fort Meade.
