Mr. Donald C. "Donny" Roberts Jr.

FORT MEADE - Mr. Donald C. "Donny" Roberts, Jr., 52, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Lakeland, FL. Donny was born July 24, 1968 in Bartow, FL and was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade. He was the owner/operator of his well drilling business, a member of Fort Meade Worship Center, and a member of the 1986 graduating class of Fort Meade High School. Donny love to fish, hunt, and spend leisure time riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Terry Roberts; step-father, Larry Morelock; maternal grandparents, Denver and Anita Stringfellow; paternal grandfather, Carl R. Roberts; and great aunt, Anna Laura Carter McBride.

Donny is survived by his son, Dustin Roberts and wife Jordan; mother, Annette Stringfellow Morelock; father, Donald C Roberts, Sr.; brothers, Christopher Roberts and wife Jessica, Bryan Neely; sisters, Stacie Harpe, Maria Hickman, Angela Morelock; granddaughters, Jolene and Lorelei Roberts; paternal grandmother, Leola Roberts; aunts, Betty L. Radford, Susan Johnson, Carla Roberts; uncle, David Roberts.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dan Brockman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
