Mrs Donna Marie Davis
February 4, 1953 — January 7, 2023
Donna Marie Davis (Taylor) of Port Crane, Ny and Fort Meade, Fl became our angel from above on Saturday January 7th 2023. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Mildred Taylor, her brother Paul David Taylor, sister Patricia Taylor, and recently her Mother in Law Lovene Davis.
Donna is Survived by the love of her life of over 50 years, Raymond Davis, her son Jeff Michael Davis and wife Amy Anne, her daughter Amy Rae Comfort and husband Philip Comfort. Her beloved grandsons Justin Davis Comfort and Philip Michael Comfort. Her beloved sisters Nancy Nanni, Paula Aton, many nieces, nephews, and their families. Her many loving friends from her Fort Meade Community, including her best friends John and Karen Petrunyak, Bonnie and Van Hanyon, also great friends from the American Legion Auxiliary Post 1194, Hillcrest, Ny.
Donna was a ray of sunshine with an infectious laugh and a passion for her family and her beloved dog, Sarge. She was always the light of any get together and will be greatly missed. She created so many special memories that will never be forgotten by those who love her.
Donna was the most loving and devoted wife, the most caring and patient Mom and the most fun of any Nanas. Always up to do something new and fun or just to listen and love. She never ended a conversation without saying “I love you” and all who knew her, knew that was genuine. Donna may be gone and will be sorely missed and she will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at Hancock Funeral Home Chapel, Ft. Meade on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
A celebration of love and life will be held at her beloved American Legion in Hillcrest, NY at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Donna to the Wounded Warrior Project.
