Mr. Doug Dyal

ARCADIA - Mr. Doug Dyal, 77, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 in Port Charlotte, FL. Doug was born May 10, 1942 in Baxley, GA and had been a resident of Arcadia for the last 54 years. He was a manager for Christ Building Supply for 28 years, an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan, and he coached Arcadia Senior League Baseball for over 12 years. He was of the Baptist faith, and was a dedicated volunteer for the Senior Friendship Center for several years.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Dyal; mother, Nancy Christine Crosby; sisters, Linda Corado, Faye Lara, and Hilda Rokita.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Dyal; sons, Rodney, Glenn, and Jeff; daughter, Debbie; brothers, Donnie, Hollis "Bobby", Johnny, Teddy, Jimmy, and Danny; sisters, Elaine and Bonnie; grandchildren, Shannon, Brad, Crystal, Coty, Chloe, Summer, C.J., and Danny; ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 11: 00 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade, with graveside services following at 11:00 a.m.
