Mrs. Edith Albritton Putnel

FORT MEADE - Mrs.Edith Albritton Putnel, 78, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her home in Fort Meade, FL. Mrs. Putnel was born in Picnic, FL on March 12, 1943 and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. She was a retired secretary working with IMC for more than 30 years. She loved to travel and was a member of First Baptist Church, Bowling Green, FL, and a 1960 graduate of Pinecrest High School,

Mrs. Putnel was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Ethel Mae Rees Albritton, and her sister, Velda Hall.

She is survived by her loving husband, C. Wayne Putnel, Fort Meade, FL; son, Michael Crosby and Paula Arnold, Orlando, FL; daughter, Kenya Crosby and Deborah, Lakeland, FL; sister, Harriett Rowand, Lakeland, FL; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Bowling Green, FL with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
