FORT MEADE - Mr. Edward Charles Drown, 77, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at his home in Fort Meade, FL. Mr. Drown was born June 15, 1938 in Freemont, OH and moved to Fort Meade from Greensprings, OH in 2004. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for International Operating Engineers, and a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran. Mr. Drown was a member of Fort Meade American Legion Post #23, a member of the Eagles in Clyde, OH, and a 1956 graduate of Greensprings, Ohio High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Wayne and Elaine Shaw Drown; brother, David Lee Drown; and sister, Regina Little.
Mr. Drown is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean Drown, Fort Meade, FL; sons, Jeff Drown and wife Christina, Clyde, OH, and John Drown, Seattle, WA; daughters, Shari Hoffert and husband Mark, Columbia, SC, Tina Hall and husband Jeff, Clyde, OH, and Linda Ackerman, and husband Rick, Freemont, OH; brother, Roland Keith Drown, Greensprings, OH; Patricia Drown, Greensprings, OH, Laurie Danford and husband Mark, Colorado; Pam Wolff and husband Fred, Republic, OH; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
