BOWLING GREEN - Mr. James Elvis Land, 59, passed away February 29, 2016 in Georgia in an automobile accident. Elvis was born December 6, 1956 in Arkansas and moved to Hardee County in the early 1990's. He was a truck driver for Daniel Harvesting and a U.S. Army veteran.
Elvis was preceded in death by his mother Betty; half-brother, Timothy Reed, and half-sister, Angela Ledford.
He is survived by his daughter, Juanita Land, sister, Barbara Copeland; half-sisters, Lynn Reed and Cindy Smith; and family friends, Mitchell Lamb, Ray Lamb, and Emory Lamb.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016 in Bowling Green Cemetery, Bowling Green, FL.
