Evelyn P. Whitted

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Evelyn P. Whitted, 74, passed away August 9, 2013 in Winter Haven of heart failure. Mrs. Whitted was born on March 10, 1939 in Moultrie, GA and was a longtime resident of Fort Meade. She was a longtime clerk and cashier for Fowler's Grocery store in Fort Meade for 26 years, and a member of First Baptist Church, Bradley, FL. Mrs. Whitted was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Whitted; son, Wayne Whitted; brother, Jimmy Parker. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Whitted and wife Karen, Winter Haven, FL, and Steve Whitted and wife DeeAnn, Bradley, FL; daughter, Deborah Stanley, St. Augustine, FL; sister, Jean Pooser and husband Jim, Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Jessica, Robert, Vanessa, Christopher, Caleb, Hope. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Tues., Aug. 13, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Fort Meade, FL.
