Faye C. Brown

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Faye Cook Brown 82, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL.  Mrs. Brown was born January 22, 1942 in Bowling Green, FL and has been a resident of the area for many years.   She was a 1961 graduate of Fort Meade High School,  a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brown, her parents, Otis and Letha McAdams Cook; daughter-in-law, Melissa Brown; grandson, Drew Dillard; brothers,  Harold  and Hubert; sisters, Bessie, Betty, Shirley, and Mary.

She is survived by her daughter, Chris Lynch and Scott; son, Robert Brown and Mandie; grandchildren, Kate Benedict and Allan, Zak Lynch and Kenzie, Jessica Motos and James,  Robert Thomas and Caroline Buchanan, Madison Brown, Faith Dillard, Makenzie Brown and three great-grandchildren;  brothers and sisters, Alene Allen, Bill Cook and Janice, Carol Farris and Ray, Jenell Mogle and Larry, Jerry Cook and Connie, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  

A memorial service will be held at 5;00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. with a visitation  beginning at 4:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of Flowers, those wishing, may make contributions to the Good Shepherd Hospice, Forsythe House, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
