Mr. Floyd E. Carlson

FORT MEADE - Mr. Floyd E. Carlson, 86, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his home in Fort Meade, FL. Mr. Carlson was born July 30, 1935 in Sioux City, Iowa and moved to Fort Meade in 2006 from Glendora, CA. He was a retired general contractor in southern California, a graduate of Dixon High School in Dixon, NE Class of 1953, and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Carlson was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Fort Meade Masonic Lodge #160 F&AM, and enjoyed helping churches and military organizations with painting and other general construction knowledge.

Mr. Carlson was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Jean Fegley Carlson. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Carlson, Fort Meade, FL; son, Eugene K. Carlson and wife Valerie, Fort Meade, FL; daughter, Patricia Elin Carlson, Anna Heim, CA; sister, Barbara Lowther, Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Matthew Carlson and Eric Carlson, both of Fort Meade, FL.
