Fred H. Maits

FORT MEADE - Mr. Fred Howard Maits, 62, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 in Dixon, Missouri. Mr. Maits was born May 19, 1949 in Winter Haven, FL, and had recently moved to Dixon, Missouri from Fort Meade in June after his retirement from Securitas, where he worked as a Security Guard at their Fort Meade location on Peeples Road. He was a former Lakeland High School student and Protestant faith. Mr. Maits was preceded in death by his mother, Elvie Virginia South Maits. He is survived by his father, Richard Allen Maits, Fort Meade, FL; daughters, Gina Maits, California, Toni Whalen, Lakeland, FL, Bobbie Jones, Dixon, MO, Michele Maits and Genie Maits, both of Winter Haven, FL; sister, Pamela Hammac, Winter Haven, FL; thirteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
