FORT MEADE - Robert Eugene "Gene" Woodham, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in North Fort Myers, FL. Gene was born July 1, 1949 in Fort Meade, FL and was a security guard for local phosphate mines of the area. He attended Fort Meade schools in his younger years, and currently attended the First United Methodist Church of Fort Meade.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Lula Skinner Woodham.
He is survived by his son, Robert and daughter, Mindy, both of Sabattus, ME; brothers, James Woodham and Johnny Woodham; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the Reid Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church of Fort Meade, 135 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL.
