FORT MEADE - Mr. George William Long, Jr., 60, passed away September 2, 2016 in Lakeland, FL. Mr. Long was born December 5, 1955 in White Oak, PA and was a resident of Fort Meade for over 20 years. He worked with the Badcock Furniture Corporation in Mulberry, FL, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Mr. Long was preceded in death by his parents, George William Long, Sr. and Elizabeth Lewinski Long.
He is survived by his former wife, Diane Newman Long, Fort Meade, FL; children, Linda Gomez, Mayo, FL, George Senterfitt and wife Sabrina, Angela Poincer and companion Missy Stephens, and Mia Martinez, all of Fort Meade, FL; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
