Mr. Gordon Anderson

FORT MEADE - Mr. Gordon Anderson, 41, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home in Fort Meade, FL. Gordon was born March 24, 1974 in Lakeland, FL and was a longtime resident of Fort Meade. He was a quality control manager and previously employed with Cord:Use Blood Bank. Gordon was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Meade, a 1992 graduate of Fort Meade High School, and he attended the University of South Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harley E. Anderson and step-father, George C. Watson.

Gordon is survived by his loving mother, Sylvia S. Anderson Watson of Fort Meade, FL. As the Anderson and Watson families were blessed to be joined together as one family, Gordon is also survived by his step-sisters, Tana Davis and husband Tim, Bartow, FL, Tamara Sharp and husband David, Palm Coast, FL, and step-brother, Jason Watson, Bartow, FL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, 135 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Pastor David Sharp and Rev. Marion Sortore officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
