Mr. Harold E. "Mike" Michaels, Jr.

FORT MEADE - Mr. Harold E. "Mike" Michaels, Jr. passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Lakeland, FL. Mike was born January 21, 1938 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church, Fort Meade and a U.S. Army Veteran. Mike was Fort Meade's Handyman, if there was a job to be done, Mike could get it done.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Ezra Michaels, Sr. and Pauline M. Birtch Michaels; his wife, Darline Williams Michaels; sisters, Nettie Homsher, Romaine Michaels, Wilhelmina Michaels.

Mike is survived by his loving daugher, Tracy Nicole Caruso and husband Marc, Sanford, FL; sisters, Edith Raub, Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law, Peggy Clem & Bobby, Frostproof, FL, Jolyn Crosby, Frostproof, FL, Syble Charboneau, Bartow, FL, Carolyn Lambeth, Pollard, AL; Nieces, Sandy Buckly and Nancy Hadden, both of Pennsylvania; nephew, Ronald Homsher, New York; many other nieces, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL 33841. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16th at 10:30 a.m. in the Hancock Funeral Home chapel.
