LAKELAND - Master Hayden Emmanuel "Hayden Boy" Hitchcock, 4, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. Hayden was born February 24, 2010 in Tampa, FL and moved to Lakeland from Plant City with his family in February, 2014. He was a member of First Baptist Church at the Mall, Lakeland, FL and attended Lakeland Christian School Pre-K4. Hayden loved Captain America and LSU football, and with his laughter, personality and infectious smile, he was loved by everyone. Hayden was a gift from God, and a reminder that God is always with us.
He is survived by his loving parents, Brett and Kristen Hitchcock; brother, Hunter Hitchcock; sisters, Hannah Hitchcock and Hailey Hitchcock, all of Lakeland, FL; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Peggy Parke, Dover, FL; paternal grandparents, Scott and Terry Hitchcock, Tampa, FL; maternal great-grandmother, Helen Parke, Dover, FL; aunt and uncle, Erin and David McQuaig with cousins Connor and Patrick, all of Plant City, FL; aunt and uncle, Erin and Paul Castelli with cousin Keegan, all of Spring Hill, FL; aunt and uncle Kandice and Matt Parke with cousin Sara, all of Dover, FL; best friend, Ridge Rhoden, Polk City, FL.
Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church at the Mall, 1010 East Memorial Blvd., Lakeland, FL. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Castelli officiating. Interment will be in Springhead Cemetery, Springhead, FL.
