Mrs. Herminia T. Maldonado

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Herminia T. Maldonado, 85, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 in Winter Haven, FL. Mrs. Maldonado was born October 30, 1936 in Santa Rosa, TX and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. She was a member of the Cornerstone Church of God, a homemaker, and loved making quilts for her family and working in her greenhouse.

Mrs. Maldonado was preceded in death by her parents, Cecilio and Manuela Garza Trevino; husband, Fermin G. Maldonado; several brothers and sisters; and 2 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, San Juanita and Jose Navaro, Anna Avila, Sylvia Maldonado and Vito Gauna, and Eduardo Maldonado; grandchildren, Lisa and Adrian Lopez, Andrea and John Johnson, Jeannie and Richard Perez, Robert and Brandy Gonzalez, Jessica Navarro, Joey Navarro; great-grandchildren, Veronica and Tadeo Martinez, Abigail Lopez, Alexis Lopez, Adrian Lopez, Jr., Eli Johnson, Briana Howland, Luke Howland, Kaitlyn Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Karla Farrington, Sergio Guevara, III; great-great-grandchildren, Everly Thompson and Matro Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., on both Tuesday and Wednesday, October 25th and October 26th at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 and interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
