FORT MEADE - Mrs. Holly J. Rawlins, 67, passed away at her home in Fort Meade, FL on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Holly was born August 23, 1954 in Lakeland, FL and was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade, where she was a hair stylist for 50 years. She began her career working with Mrs. Frances Rolling at the LaBelle Beauty Salon in Fort Meade, which she later purchased and ran for many years as "Guys and Gals Salon." Holly later moved her shop to her home, where she continued to work and assist many ladies of Fort Meade. She was a member of the Fort Meade Worship Center, a 1972 graduate of Fort Meade High School, and loved crafting and shopping for her family. Holly was a wonderful wife, mother, and sister and was a beautiful person both inside and out.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard H. "Dickie" Mullins and Glenda Gillispie Mullins; and also her brother, Richard Mullins.
Holly is survived by her loving husband, David J. Rawlins, Fort Meade, FL; son, Shawn Moseley and wife Suzanne, Fort Meade, FL; daughters, Misty Lanfair, Bartow, FL and Amy Wright and husband Brandon, Lakeland, FL; sister, Cynthia McQuien and husband George, Fort Meade, FL; brother, Roderick E. Mullins, South Bay, FL; four grandchildren, Sylvie Wyatt, Tad Moseley, Cason Upthegrove, and Maddie Lanfair; she also had three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dan Brockman officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Fort Meade.
