FORT MEADE - Mr. James Millage Branning, III, 48, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his home in Fort Meade. Mr. Branning was born June 2, 1973 in Wauchula and was a certified welder for McCormick Fabrications. He was of the Christian faith and loved to spend time with his family and friends, was a member of the Hardee Bass Club, and especially liked spending time one the water fishing.
Mr. Branning was preceded in death by his daughter, Sydney Branning; father, James Millage Branning, Jr; aunt, Diane Pelham; maternal grandparents, Chester and Claudia Criswell Branning; paternal grandparents, James Millage Branning, Sr. and Margaret Reynolds Branning.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Shelton Branning, Fort Meade, FL; children, Jacob Branning, Crewstview, FL, Will Crawford and wife Gracie, Yantis, TX; Andrea Paugh, Fort Meade,, FL and Joseph Crawford and wife Mia, Fort Meade, FL; mother and step-father, Harlan and Janice Bass, Bowling Green, FL; brothers, Harlan Bass, Jr. and wife Penny, Bowling Green, FL, and David Bass, Orlando, FL; sister, Amy Franks and husband, Jamie, Bowling Green, FL; grandchildren, Ashlynn Paugh, Waylen Paugh, and Carson Crawford; nieces and nephews, Nicole Franks, Amber Franks and Brandon Franks, Harleigh, Taylor, and Skylar Bass; 3 great nephews and one great niece.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL; Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 3rd in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade, with Rev. Leonard Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Dale Cemetery.
