Johnny R. Gonzales

FORT MEADE - Mr. Johnny Ramirez Gonzales, 66, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 in Orlando, FL.  Johnny was born June 24, 1957 in Floyada, TX and moved to Fort Meade in 1978 from Frostproof.   He was a graduate of Marble Falls, TX High School, a maintenance mechanic for Florida Natural in Lake Wales, and of the Catholic faith.   In Johnny's spare time he loved to fish and grill for his family.  

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Mauricia Ramirez Gonzales; brothers, Basillio Gonzales and Richard Gonzales.

     Johnny is survived by his wife of 45 years, Adelita Gutierrez Gonzales; son, Johnny Gonzales and wife Ruth; daughters, Mauricia Blanco and husband Juan, and Melissa  Monasterio and husband Wielmer; brothers, Luis Gonzales, Joe Gonzales and Hoss Gonzales; sisters, Bernice Valdez and Paula McDaniels.; grandchildren, Naomi, Jorge, Sebastian, Misael, Juliana, Ayedin, and Leilani.  

      Visitation will be held from 10:00 a,m, - 10L30 a.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade.  Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
