Mrs. Juanita Olivares Gutierrez

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Juanita Olivares Gutierrez, 97, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 in Bartow, FL. She was born October 3, 1925 in Pleasanton, Texas, and has been a resident of Fort Meade for 54 years. Mrs. Gutierrez was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bartow.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Olivares and Franisca Herrera; husband, Filiberto Gutierrez; sons, Filiberto O. Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrez, Vicente Gutierrez; and grandson, Jose Jack Gutierrez; sisters, Flora, Mary, Lillie, and Lupe; brothers, Clemente and Vicente.

Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her son, Agapito Gutierrez, Sr; daughters, Juanita Garza and husband Leobardo Garza, and Adelita Gonzalez and husband Johnny Gonzales; daughter-in-law, Emma Gutierrez; numerous grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters, great-great-grandsons, great-great-granddaughters, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
