Mrs. Kathryn Fields Doss

LAKELAND - Mrs. Kathryn Fields Doss, 63, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her home in Lakeland, FL. Mrs. Doss was born August 16, 1955 in Bartow, FL, and resided in Fort Meade during her early life in school, being a member of the Fort Meade High School graduating class of 1973. Mrs. Doss went on to attend college and has been a resident of Lakeland for many years, and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lenor Fields and Betty June Brown Fields; brothers, Larry Fields, Butch Fields, and Dick Fields.

Mrs. Doss is survived by her husband, Thomas Wayne Doss, Lakeland, FL; daughters, Vanessa Doss, Edgewater, NJ, Renee Doss, Garden City, MI; brother, Alan Fields, Winter Haven, FL; several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the home of Mr. Anthony Fields, 702 S. Orange Ave., Fort Meade, FL In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Doss requested that donations be made in her memory to: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
