Mr. Lamar Daniels

WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Clifford Lamar Daniels, 84, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away on May 1, 2022 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Daniels was born February 7, 1938, in Eagle Lake, FL and was the son of Jacob Lamar Daniels and Sara Allen Duckworth.
A graduate of Winter Haven High School Class of 1956 and a proud alumnus of the University of Florida, Lamar worked in accounting and finance for over 34 years as the CFO of Standard Sand & Silica Company in Davenport, FL. Lamar was also a Polk County citrus grower. He served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard, and was a founding member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Haven, FL.
Lamar enjoyed woodworking, gardening, 10 years of traveling in his motorhome, antique cars and most of all spending time with his two sons, their wives and his five grandchildren.
Lamar is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan Gabriel Daniels, of Winter Haven, FL; sons, Joel Lamar Daniels and wife Charity, Pooler, GA, Clifford Curtis Daniels, and wife Jennifer, Bartow, FL; sister-in-law, Judy Gabriel Marchman, Fort Meade, FL; five grandchildren, Keightley, Sara, and Nathan Daniels, Pooler, GA, and Mason and Grady Daniels, Bartow, FL; nephew, Stephen Marchman and niece, Lisa Marchman Wilkin and husband Shawn, all of Fort Meade, FL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 4, at 4:00 PM from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 2101 Overlook Dr., SE, Winter Haven, Florida 33884.
