Mr. Larry Wayne Morelock

FORT MEADE - Mr. Larry Wayne Morelock, 69, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at his residence in Fort Meade. Larry was born August 13, 1946 in Big Stone Gap, VA and was a longtime resident of Fort Meade. He was a retired diesel mechanic for the U.S. Dept. of Transportation FAA at Washington International Airport, a U.S. Army veteran and of the Pentecostal faith.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Morelock; mother and step-father, Lillian and Chester Hill; brothers, Rod Morelock and Glenn Morelock; sisters, Gail Perry, Patsy Ulin, Joyce Herron and Betty Joiner.

He is survived by his loving wife Annette S. Morelock, Fort Meade, FL; daughters, Maria Hickman and husband Glenn, Middletown, VA, Angela Morelock, Winchester, VA; sons, John Splawn, Rutherfordton, NC, Donny Roberts, Fort Meade, FL and Chris W. Roberts, Moneta, VA; grandchildren, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Hunter, Austin, Alexandra, Dustin, Wade, Annalea, Amanda and Blaise; great-grandchildren, Vivian, James and Camden; brothers, Allen Morelock, Bobby Morelock and C.A. Hill, all of Winter Haven, FL; sisters, Rita Wilson, Winter Haven, FL and Linda Branch, Bartow, FL.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in the Hancock Funeral Home chapel, with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery.
