ZOLFO SPRINGS - Mrs. Lena Mae Brown, 87, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 in Arcadia, FL. Mrs. Brown was born May 5, 1936 in Brewton, Alabama and has been a longtime resident of Zolfo Springs and Popash area, where she attended school as a young girl and currently attended the New Hope Baptist Church in Zolfo Springs.. Mrs. Brown liked to be around people and stay busy, and she well known for her flower creations, as she was a previous owner of Cooper's Flowers in Wauchula. She also worked with Mancini's Pepper Packing Co. and Eaton's Dept. Store in previous years, but she also made plenty of time for caring for her husband and children.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lillie Mae Frazier Robinson, and one brother.
She is survived by her loving husband, Park Franklin Brown; son, James Wilson and wife Jane; daughters, Helen Faye Pollard and husband Vaden, Jena Roberts, and three step-children, Deneen Brown, Jimmy Brown and wife Debbie, Jodie Brown and wife Tammy; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Private funeral services will be held.
