Lessie Redden

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Lessie Redden, 87, passed away Sun., May 8, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Redden was born in Huston, Mississippi on December 6, 1923 and moved to Fort Meade from Bowling Green, FL in 1980. She was a homemaker and member of Oak Park Baptist Church, Fort Meade. Mrs. Redden was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Redden and son, Tom Redden. She is survived by her sons, William Redden and wife Linda, Highland City, FL, David Redden and wife Barbie, Fort Meade, FL, Billy Redden and wife Mary, Paragould, Arkansas; daughters, Charlene Champion and husband Harold, Fort Meade, FL, Eva Browning and husband Ronnie, Paragould, Arkansas, Betty Nickerson and husband Jim, Pikeville, TN; forty-nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 2:00pm, Wed., May 11, 2011 at Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Roy Hancock officiating.
