BARTOW - Mrs. Maria Del Carmen Sanchez, 95, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at her home in Bartow, FL. Mrs. Sanchez was born February 13, 1925 in Cortazar, Guanajuato, Mexico and was a former longtime resident of Fort Meade. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband Jose Maria Sanchez; brother, Rafael Molina; grandson, Juan Isidro Sanchez.
She is survived by her sons, Juan Sanchez and wife Sandra, Fort Meade, FL, and Lino Sanchez and wife Natividad, Bartow, FL; daughter, Maria Cuevas and husband Fernando, Bartow, FL; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Family funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade with a public visitation being held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
