Mrs. Rosie Marie Albritton Cochran, 84, , affectionately known by so many as “Granny” of Starrs Bridge Rd., Canon, GA wife of the late Tate Cochran passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Cochran was born November 6, 1932 in Ft. Meade, FL to Charlie Albritton and Dillie Rimes Keen. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ft. Meade and was a retired convenience store manager.
Survivors include daughters: Phyllis Newsom Latner and husband Kelvin of Canon, GA, Rene' Tribbey and husband of Kenneth of Carnesville, GA; step-son Dan Cochran of New Jersey; grandchildren: Lynn Briley and Jim, Julia Given and Doug, Erin Sigala and Hugo, Jeremy Spivey and Megan, Cortney Beam and Jasper, Schuyler Newsom and Sara; fifteen great-grandchildren, her beloved Maggie and many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Vickie Fox, son-in-love Kenneth Newsom, three sisters and four brothers.
Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date that family will announce.
