WAUCHULA - Mrs. Marjorie Ann Coker, a dedicated homemaker and active member of Mt Pisgah Baptist Church in Fort Meade, has passed away at her residence in Wauchula, FL, where she was born on December 23, 1948, and remained a lifelong resident.
Marjorie's life was characterized by her unwavering love for her family and her exceptional care and devotion towards each of them. She cherished her role as a homemaker and took great joy in creating a warm and loving home for her loved ones. She also enjoyed being around people and her friends where she worked away from her home at PRECO as a billing specialist for nearly 30 years.
Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Ronald C. Coker of Wauchula, FL. She also leaves behind her daughters Michelle Carver and Cindy Ann Hensley, both residing in Fort Meade, FL; Heather Araujo of Sebring, FL; and Stephanie Stephens Bay of St. Louis, MS; brother -in-law, Larry Coker; sisters-in-law, Carol Coker and Sharon Coker. Marjorie was a cherished grandmother to David, Gracie, Amanda, and Amber and took immense pride in her thirteen great-grandchildren.
While mourning the loss of Marjorie, the family finds solace in knowing that she is now reunited with those who preceded her in death including her parents, John T. Pittman and Rose Radley Pittman; grandsons, Jason Henegar and Christopher Stephens. Marjorie's memory will also be embraced by those who had close connections to her father-in-law and mother-in-law Carl and Virlene Singletary Coker as well as brothers Darrell Pittman, David Pittman, and Roger Pittman.
A Funeral Service honoring Marjorie's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church located at 6210 Mt Pisgah Rd, Fort Meade, FL 33841. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Marjorie Ann Coker will be remembered for her unconditional love, nurturing spirit, and dedication to her family. Her presence will forever be missed, yet her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
