MULBERRY - Mr. Murray Lynn Williams, 77, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 in Lakeland, FL. Mr. Williams was born July 23, 1944 in Bartow, FL, and after living his early years in Fort Meade, and graduating Fort Meade High School in 1963, he has since been a resident of Mulberry for many years. He was the owner/operator of S&M Quality Lawn Care of Mulberry, and also worked as a supervisor with Linder Industrial Machinery in Lakeland for 18 years. Mr. Williams was an avid outdoorsman, and was very active in the Frostproof, FFA Alumni; a lifetime member of the NRA; a member of the Manatee Shooting Club; a U.S. National Guard Reserves veteran, and of the Primitive Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Murry A. Williams and Mary Elizabeth Kedney Williams.
Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon Hunt Williams, Mulberry, FL; daughter, Stacy Lynn Leach and her husband Scott and their children, Nicole & husband Cameron, and Cory Leach; daughter, Joy Lynn Sears and her children Avery and Luke; cousins, Mary Ruth Ivey and Thomas Ivey.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm - 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2021 with memorial services following at 3:00 p.m. in the Hancock Funeral Home chapel, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL.
