Patricia Lynne Whitfield

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Patricia Lynne Whitfield, 58, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 in Tampa, FL.  Lynne was born January 10, 1956 in Bartow, FL to James Allen Barnes and Dorothy Boney,  and was a longtime resident of Fort Meade.  She was a homemaker, member of Community Friendship Fellowship Church in Bartow, FL, and a graduate of Fort Meade High School, Class of 1975.     Lynne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. M.A. and Doris Boney, and sister, Sharrona Young.     She is survived by her husband, Ralph J. "Whit" Whitfield, Fort Meade, FL;  sons, Jesse Leonard Smith and wife Christina, and Lonnie Smith, all of Fort Meade, FL; half-brother, Floyd J. Brimhall, Hebr Springs, AR; half-sisters, Angie Brimhall, Hebr Springs, AR, Sonya Joy Brimhall, Corpus Christi,  Texas, and Jeanne Morton, Fort Meade, FL; four grandchildren.      Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL.  Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Jesse Stanfield and Pastor Leo Lacey officiating.   Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Fort Meade.        Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade, FL   863-285-8171
