Richard Gonzales

FORT MEADE - Mr. Richard Gonzales, 57, passed away Wed., Oct. 24, 2012 at Bartow Regional Medical Center of heart failure. Mr. Gonzales was born in Crosbyton, TX on February 9, 1955 and moved to Fort Meade from Michigan in 2008. He was a plant worker for Stericycle and attended St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bartow. Mr. Gonzales was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Gonzales and his brother, Basilio Gonzales. He is survived by his brothers, Johnny Gonzales, Fort Meade, Louis Gonzales, Jr., Frostproof, FL, Manuel Gonzales, Fredericksburg, TX, Joe Gonzales and Jacinto Gonzales, both of Marble Falls, TX; sisters, Berniece Valdez, Immokalee, FL, Paula McDaniel, Austin, TX and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Mon., Oct. 29, 2012 at Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade. A Rosary Service will begin at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held 10:30am, Tues., Oct. 30, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fort Meade with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery.
