Mr. Robert "Bobby" C. Smallwood

BARTOW- Mr. Robert “Bobby” Smallwood, 75, passed away in the home of his caregivers on June 29, 2022. Bobby was born in Montgomery, Pennsylvania to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Smallwood. Later, he served his country in the United States Army as Military Police during the Vietnam Conflict. Bobby spent the past twenty-seven years as a resident of Bartow, coming from the Auburndale area. He collected US state quarters and mapped them according to their mint. He will be remembered by many for riding his bicycle through his Bartow neighborhood with friends. He was of the Christian Faith.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Catherine Smallwood; wife, Mary M. Smallwood and brother, Joseph Smallwood.
Survivors include his daughter; Mary Ready (Chris); granddaughter, Mary Jones (Jed); three great-grandchildren and friends, Ben and Patricia Smith.
A visitation will take place from 2:00-3:00PM, Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Hancock Funeral Home, with a graveside service to immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Ft. Meade.
