FORT MEADE - Mr. Robert E. Coulter passed away at his home in Fort Meade, FL on
Saturday, January 5, 2019. Mr. Coulter was born in Bartow, FL on October 10, 1945, and was alifelong resident of Fort Meade graduating from Fort Meade High School in 1963. He thenserved his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His education then continued at the University of South Florida graduating with a degree in education. He worked 35 years as atruck driver and retired from Fleetwing Corporation.
Mr. Coulter was preceded in death by his parents Wiley Joe Coulter and Nellie Rivers Coulter; his brothers Donald Coulter and Jack Coulter; his sisters Patricia Dobson and Francis Coulter; and his sister-in-law,Mary Coulter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Coulter, Fort Meade, FL; daughters, Casy Wade and husband Alex, Chuluoto, FL, Charlene Booker and husband Gregg, Cullman, AL, and Stacy McLeod and husband James, Zephyrhills, FL; brothers, Hubert Coulter, Joe Coulter and wife Wilma, and Jimmy Coulter, all from Fort Meade, FL; sisters, Martha Lyle, Winter Haven, FL, Sandra Boatwright, Yuma, Arizona, Valeria Murray and husband Tom, Eldorado, CA; and grandchildren, Danielle, Gregory, Branden, Emily, Elijah, and Aleena; great-grandchildren,
Grayson and Carter.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Slay officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
