Mr. Robert "Ronnie" Herring

Mr. Robert R. "Ronnie" Herring, 67, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Mr. Herring was born March 25, 1951 in Enterprise, AL and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. He was a heavy equipment operator for Phillips & Jordan Construction Co., a U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Vietnam veteran, and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Herring was preceded in death by his daughter, Missy Herring Cobb, and grandson, T.R. Saylor.
He is survived by his loving companion, Janice Turner, Fort Meade, FL; sisters, Janice P. Helms and Sue Herring, both of The Dalles, OR, Joni Whitehead, Silverton, OR; brother, Bobby Herring, The Dalles, OR; grand-daughter, Ambrea Fanning; two great-grandchildren, Ally and Hunter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday; April 9, 2018 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade with Rev. Joe Parrish officiating.
