Rosa Lee Putnel

WAUCHULA - Mrs. Rosa Lee Putnel, 87, formerly of Fort Meade passed away Sun., April 24, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Putnel was born in Wimauma, FL and moved to Wauchula from Fort Meade in 1981, and then spent a short time living in Dade City, before returning to Wauchula recently. She retired from Polk General Hospital as a Certified Nurses Assistant in 1981, and Mrs. Putnel was of the Church of Christ faith. Mrs. Putnel was preceded in death by her husband, Julian E. (John) Putnel. She is survived by her daughters, Freida Crawford, Wauchula, FL and Elain Enfield, Dade City, FL; grandchildren, Gary Crawford, Dale Crawford, Paul MacNeil, John Enfield, Theresa Rosenburg, Lisa Ray; eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm - 8:30pm, Tues., Apr. 26, 2011 at Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade.
