Mrs. Roxanne Sims

Fort Meade - Mrs. Yvonne Roxanne Sims, 63, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at her home in Fort Meade, FL. Mrs. Sims was born July 20, 1955 in Kingsport, TN and moved to Fort Meade from Haines City, FL in 1973. She was a 1973 graduate of Haines City High School, a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her parents, James Everette Bishop and Eula Alberta Morelock Bishop; husband, Bobby Sims, Sr.; son, Stacey Sims; brothers, Gene Waycaster and Jim Waycaster.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Sims, Jr. and wife Renee, Fort Meade, FL; sister, Angie Kyser, Plant City, FL; grandchildren, Alexis, Kaylee, Riley, Aaliyah, Brade, Garrett, and Peyton; one great-grandchild, Lailynn.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Marion R. Sortore officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
