FORT MEADE - Sandra I. Spann, 61, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Lakeland, FL. Sandy was born February 16, 1961 in Bradenton, FL and has been a longtime resident of Fort Meade. She was a heavy equipment operator for Phillips & Jordan, a 1980 graduate of Fort Meade High School, and of the Baptist faith.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Dolan Spann and mother, Dorothy Sapp Smith.
She is survived by her son, Steven Spann and companion, Kari Jones, Jacksonville, FL; sister, Frances Bagley, Fort Meade, FL; grandchildren, Christian Rivera, Leslie Rivera, Railynn Jones, Bowen Proulx, and Weston Proulx.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a,m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel and interment will be in New Hope Cemetery, Fort Meade.
