Mrs. Shirley Ann Westbrook

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Shirley Ann Westbrook, 72, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Lakeland, FL. Mrs. Westbrook was born October 6, 1945 to Clifton and Lela Eady Cochran in Fort Meade, FL where she remained a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker, attended the Cornerstone Church of God of Fort Meade, and loved spending time with all of her family. Mrs. Westbrook was a mother not only to her own four children, but to countless others that she extended her loving arms to help guide them in life. She loved sharing her interest of her hobbies and nature outings, which included; camping, fishing, and hunting, and while she wasn't on an adventure outdoors, she would spend quiet time at home quilting and painting.

Mrs. Westbrook was preceded in death by her husband Jerry E. Westbrook, Sr., and many other loved family members.

She is survived by her son, Jerry E. "Wes" Westbrook, Jr.; daughters, Selina Carroll, Sherry Westbrook, Sheryl Forbus and husband Danny, all of Fort Meade, FL; brother, Johnny Cochran, Fort Meade, FL; sister, Linda Keene, Wauchula, FL; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2018 in the sanctuary of the Cornerstone Church of God, 10 S. Seminole Ave., Fort Meade, and interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
