Susanne Mary Trasoras

FORT MEADE - Susanne Mary Trasoras, 81, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at her home in Fort Meade, FL. Mrs. Trasoras was born June 6, 1939 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and moved to Fort Meade in 1996 from Ocean City, NJ. She was a retired food service manager for the school system of Upper Township, NJ, a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church of Petersburg, NJ and attended the First United Methodist Church of Fort Meade. Mrs. Trasoras loved dancing and being with her family and friends, and when she wasn't country line dancing or ballroom dancing, she could be found playing bingo, helping her children however she was could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph H. and Lillian Husselton Wriggins; first husband, Firman Downam; second husband, Edward Trasoras; daughter, Susan Downam, Pat Earlenbaugh; brother, Thomas W. Wriggins; and grand-daughter, Aubreigh Geese.

Mrs. Trasoras is survived by her children, Joe Downam, Lakeland, GA, Sandra Tanner, Sharon O'neill and husband Tim, all of Fort Meade, FL; James Downam and wife Paula, Ocean City, NJ, Shelly Ganiel, Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Jay Downam and wife April, Fort Myers, FL; sister, Alice Tosi-White, Weeki Wachee, FL; brother, Robert Wriggins,Tuckahoe, NJ; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Petersburg United Methodist Church, rte 610, Petersburg, NJ 08270.
