Theresa I. Lundquist

LAKE WALES - Mrs. Theresa I. Lundquist, 85, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Lakeland of heart failure.  Mrs. Lundquist was born in Fort Meade, FL on August 20, 1928, and moved to Lake Wales from Miami  in 1997.  She was a homemaker and a longtime volunteer for the Dade County school system.  Mrs. Lundquist was a graduate of Fort Meade High School, class of 1945, a graduate of Florida State University as a Journalism major, and Mrs. Lundquist was a member of the Alta Vista Presbyterian Church in North Miami, FL.  She was a member of the Lake Wales Library Board, a member of the AAUW, and a longtime supporter of the Audubon Society.       Mrs. Lundquist was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph J. and Mabel Stokes Sellers; husband, John L. Lundquist; brother, Ralph James Sellers, Jr.     She is survived by her daughters, Susan Britt and husband Richard, Morristown, FL, Carol Miller, West Palm Beach, FL, and Leesa Galloway and husband Chuck, Lake Wales, FL; grandchildren, Jamie, Jeanine, Nicky, Livia and Ian; great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Richard, Madeline and Ryan; one great-great-grandchild, Skyler.     Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will be in the Southern Memorial Park in North Miami, FL.       Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade, FL  863-285-8171
